Welcome To the official website of the Christian Union Chaplaincy Commission, Inc. The CUCC is a non-profit organization that provides training, recognition, certification and information in the various areas of the chaplaincy. As a ministry of Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS), we relate to both the ministerial and the secular world in order to promote tolerance and understanding, as well as provide professional chaplains, trained and dedicated in the various fields of need in our communities.

The work of a chaplain It differs a lot from the work of the pastorate.. The pastor cares about the spiritual needs of the congregation; ; while, the chaplain must take care of the needs of the secular world as well.

There are several fields of chaplaincy, some of which are easily recognized. Others are not. The CUCC supports all types of chaplains and recognizes the need for credential coverage. Some areas of chaplaincy are remarkable, police, fire, hospital, prison, industrial, transportation, search and rescue, sports, college, hospice, nursing home, motorcycle, and the list goes on. All are valid in scope and design. All needs education, credentials and guidance to do the job that your heart desires.
